Planning & supplies
A page for grown-ups. Look through it before a term starts so you can budget, shop slowly, or find things you already own. Nothing here is required. Paper and a pencil will carry a child through every room in this school — the rest just makes some lessons more fun.
Still to find
23 of 23 items not ticked yet. Tick things off as you find them — this stays on your own device.
The everyday basket
One basket by the table covers most lessons all year.
The Painting Room
Cheap materials are genuinely better here — less fear of wasting them.
Little Scientists
Kitchen science. Nothing here needs a laboratory.
The Music Rooms
Homemade instruments teach vibration better than bought ones.
The Word Works
Handwriting and language systems.
Movement and calm
Almost all of it is free.
The Foxy shelf
Little things we would like to make one day. Nothing is for sale yet, and no lesson will ever need them — they are just for the joy of it.
Foxy hand puppet
In the makingA soft Foxy for little hands — for asking shy questions out loud, acting out stories, and settling into quiet time.
Foxy sticker sheet
In the makingLittle foxes for sketchbooks and notebooks. Not rewards, not grades — just something nice to stick on.
Morning sketchbook
IdeaA printed version of the morning page, bound so a whole year lives in one book.
Wonder question cards
IdeaA deck of open questions to pull out when nobody knows what to wonder about today.
Want to be told when the puppet exists? There is no list to join yet — we will put one here when there is something real to send.
A note on money
Home schooling should not depend on what a family can spend. Every lesson in Fox Home School has a free version, and where something costs money we say so plainly and offer an alternative. If a child ever feels behind because of a missing item, we have designed it wrong — tell us.
Safety: adults choose and supervise materials. Small parts, scissors, seeds and kitchen ingredients all need a grown-up nearby for younger children.
